Felixstowe is a remarkable town. It is home to the UK's largest container port, which handles nearly half of all UK containerised trade. It is the birthplace of the British beach hut. It has a rich military history stretching back to the last opposed invasion of England in 1667. And it is a vibrant, welcoming seaside community with a cultural life that punches well above its weight.

We believe Felixstowe deserves a news source that matches its stature — authoritative, well-written, and deeply rooted in the community. That is what Felixstowe News aims to be.
